We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Assistant to support our lending team in processing loan applications, coordinating documentation, and ensuring smooth communication with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced financial environment.

● Assist loan officers and processors with collecting and reviewing client documentation
● Ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with industry and company standards
● Communicate with clients to provide updates, request missing information, and answer basic inquiries
● Coordinate with underwriters, lenders, and third-party vendors (e.g., appraisers, title companies)
● Enter and update client data in loan origination systems (LOS) and CRM platforms
● Track application status, deadlines, and conditions to ensure timely closings
● Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documentation as needed
● Maintain confidentiality and compliance with federal, state, and company regulations
● Minimum 1–2 years of experience in mortgage processing, lending, or related administrative support
● Knowledge of mortgage products, loan processing procedures, and regulatory compliance preferred
● Proficiency in mortgage/LOS software (e.g., Encompass, Calyx Point, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
● Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Customer-focused, professional, and able to maintain confidentiality
● Self-starter with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines independently
● Reliable computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM (minimum)
● Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps (wired connection preferred)
● Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
