We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support our legal team in managing case files, preparing documents, and ensuring efficient daily operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
The ideal candidate has prior experience in a legal or administrative role, a solid understanding of legal terminology and procedures, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a long-term role with opportunities for professional growth.
● Draft, review, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
● Organize and maintain case files, records, and legal databases
● Conduct basic legal research and compile relevant information for attorneys
● Manage scheduling, calendars, and deadlines for hearings, meetings, and filings
● Assist with client communication, intake, and follow-ups
● Prepare and file legal documents with courts and regulatory agencies as required
● Coordinate with attorneys, paralegals, and external stakeholders to ensure case progress
● Maintain confidentiality and comply with all legal and ethical requirements
● Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or in a similar administrative role
● Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
● Proficiency in legal management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy
● Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines effectively
● Professional, discreet, and able to handle sensitive information responsibly
● Self-starter with a proactive approach to supporting attorneys and clients
● Reliable computer with at least 1.8 GHz processor and 4GB RAM (minimum)
● Main Internet Service Speed: at least 25 Mbps (wired connection preferred)
● Backup Internet Service Speed: at least 10 Mbps
